Dr. David G. Sweet attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 1982 with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He then attended the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio, graduating in 1986 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Sweet has practiced in Temple, Texas since 1986, and is certified in the use of laser technology as well as Cerec same-day crown production.
He enjoys volunteering on short term mission trips to serve people in areas where dental care is needed. He has been to several countries in the past and now regularly servers on a team of medical and dental professionals in Guatemala for a week each summer.
Dr. Sweet is married to Janice and has three grown children, Michael, James, and Katie, as well as a new granddaughter, Natalie. Dr. Sweet enjoys archery-hunting and filming wildlife. He also enjoys tennis and an occassional round of golf. His love for Texas Aggie sports is now rivaled by his love for entertaining Natalie, his granddaughter.
Dr. Sweet is a deacon at First Baptist Church of Temple, and he has served as a group leader, member, and children's leader for Bible Study Fellowship and as a children's supervisor over the past 22 years. He and his wife, Janice, currently lead a worship service at a local rehabilitation center. When not serving FBC Temple or BSF, Dr. Sweet works on his ranch, the Sweet-5 Cattle Company, managing the grounds, tending the animals, and filming the wildlife.

Dr. Mark Parsons, DDS
Dr. Mark Parsons is a native Texan, born and raised in the Dallas area. After graduating from Baylor University and Dental School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, he and his wife, Sharon, settled in Whitehouse, Texas, a suburb of Tyler. He then started his dental practice as well as volunteered in numerous civic organizations in the Whitehouse area. Among them were the Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce (Pres., V.P., Tresurer), Whitehouse Library Board, Whitehouse Yesteryear Board (Pres.), Boy Scout Troop 259 (Troop Committee Chairman), Whitehouse Band Boosters (Pres.), and the parents' organization that campaigned for the Whitehouse ISD bond election for the new High School (Chairman). Dr. Parsons and his wife have two children, Katelyn and Brian, and two fantastic grandchildren, Luke and Ruby.
Dr. Parsons practiced dentistry in Whitehouse for over 28 years. He also worked as an instructor at the Tyler Junior College Dental Hygiene School. Sharon graduated from Baylor University and taught in San Antonio and Whitehouse for 8 years before retiring to raise the children. They now enjoy traveling together, including the medical/dental mission trip to Guatemala with Dr. Sweet, and spending as much time as possible with the grandchildren.

Ann has been a practicing dental hygienist for over 11 years. Her expertise and experience is being taught to future hygienists at Temple College, where Ann is an instructor.
While she is a skilled hygienist, patients always often remark how warm and comfortable her dental care has been.

Judy has over 24 years of experience in the dental field and has worked with Dr. Sweet since 2004. Judy is passionate about dental care and works hard to ensure that every patient has a positive experience.
Judy is married to her high school sweetheart and has two grown children. Much of her attention after work goes to her 2 dogs and 2 cats, which she enjoys spoiling. Judy loves getting away from the hustle and bustle and spending time in nature.

A native German, Susanne is our outstanding office manager. With 33 years of experience in the field of dentistry, Susanne is an excellent problem solver and is extremely knowledgeable regarding your dental insurance and claims.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and she has an abiding affection for animals- especially her dogs and cats.
Rhonda has worked in the dental field for over two decades. As the front desk receptionist, Rhonda enjoys interacting with all who come through the door. Rhonda is the person to ask if you ever have questions about dental treatment plans. She is very experienced explaining dental insurance claims and can take the confusion out of even the most complicated insurance issues.
Rhonda is married, has 3 wonderful children, and 2 lovable dogs. Rhonda loves to travel and wants to add Hawaii to her list of vacation destinations one day.

She has been married for 20 years and is the proud mom of two Belton Tigers. Go Big Red! Most of all, April enjoys gatherings to celebrate family, friends, and life.

Noel is a Texas Registered Dental Assistant and has assisted in dental procedures with Dr. Sweet for 17 years.
