Get to know Josey Quintana

This month Josey sits down and answers the important questions on life.... Q: What is your favorite movie? Why?

A: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (the one with Ben Stiller) because the scenery is gorgeous and that makes me want to travel more, and Walter reminds me of myself in a lot of ways.

Q: Elvis or the Beatles? (you must favor one or the other)

A: Who? These guys are not in my musical generation so I’ve barely heard anything from either of them. If I really have to pick one I’d say the Beatles because they more closely align with my taste in music.

Q: How do you take your coffee?

A: I actually prefer green tea with ginseng and honey but if I have coffee it will be a little bit with my creamer and sugar.

Q: Quirkiest habit?

A: I am a rockstar in my car. (I sing in the car) Q: If you had to live in the woods: would you thrive, survive, cease to be alive?

A: I would thrive! I love the outdoors and when things are going wrong in my life and I don’t know how to fix them I always threaten to go live “off the grid” Q: Favorite restaurant in Temple/Belton?

A: Texas Roadhouse but Chuy’s is the best restaurant in the world. Just saying. Q: Last vacation destination? Best part about it?

A: Last mini vacation was Jacobs Well in Wimberley TX, and it was fun to dive in and learn more of the history about the place. Last major vacation was Destin FL, and it was the beach, the margaritas, and the friends.

Q: What did your high school guidance counselor suggest for a career path?

A: I didn’t have one but everyone always told me to be a nurse. I still don’t know what I want to do.

Q: If you could be any animal which would you be?

A:I love cold weather and being left alone so I’d totally be a polar bear.

Q: If you could time-travel when/where would you go?

A: I’m pretty good with the time now but if I absolutely had to I’d go a year in the future to make sure I’ve moved to the west coast (Northern California to the Seattle WA area)
